Strengths: Perham bring's back their No. 1 pitcher from last year in Philip Moenkedick. They also bring back their best hitter last year in Isaac Stoll. With the experience returning and the number of seniors they have, the Jackets should be competing for conference and section titles. It will take some of the juniors or sophomores to step up and fill in somewhere to give that extra boost.
Season Outlook: The Mid-State Conference will be loaded with Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids having contending teams. Section 8AA will also be tough again with Roseau and D-G-F bringing back high caliber teams. If Perham can find consistent pitching after Moenkedick, they should be in the hunt for both conference and section titles.
Coaches Quote: "I am excited for this season to begin. Our schedule is tough and our conference and section are tough. We return experience from last year's club that will hopefully help us in those tough games. We did graduate an outstanding core of seniors, but hopefully, they were good mentors for this team."
