2006 Season: The Jacket boys won their 6th straight Heart O' Lakes championship with three All-Conference golfers. The lone returning All-Conference player is Barry Nelson.
2006 Sections: Perham finished second at the 6A North Sub-Section Meet and second at the 6A Meet. Minnewaska won the 6A title and finished fifth at the State Meet. Mounds Park Academy wo nthe Class A State Title. Perham's Taylor Cavanagh (graduated) tied for the Class A Individual title.

2007 Seniors: Mike Guehna.
Get to Know'em: Barry Nelson (Jr.), who missed going to state by only a shot or two, will be relied upon this year to bring some direction to the team. Jesse Mitchell played well in a couple of junior high/ jv matches, which should help him this year. The rest of the team is inexperienced for the most part, with very few of them having much varsity experience. It is definitely going to be a re-building year, with at least three spots for the varsity wide open. Hopefully, some underclassmen will step up when given the opportunity.
Season Outlook: Agassiz Valley and Ulen-Hitterdal gave the Jackets a run for their money in the HOL last year. Everyone is going to be shooting for Minnewaska again this year in the section. They won the section last year, and I think they lost maybe only one player, if that. Other than that, everyone else is going to be fairly balanced, in both the HOL and the section.
