Perham man, two others injured in Otter Tail accident

Three people were injured when the driver of a vehicle going southeast on County Road 52 in Otter Tail County missed a stop sign and ran off the road into the ditch.

Three people were injured when the driver of a vehicle going southeast on County Road 52 in Otter Tail County missed a stop sign and ran off the road into the ditch.

According to the state patrol, 69-year-old Fred Carter of Lincoln, Neb., was driving a 2011 Chevy Cruse when the accident happened Sunday at about 9:30 a.m.

Carter was treated and released, as was his passenger, 91-year-old Floyd Estlick of Perham. A second passenger, 60-year-old Loralee Carter of Lincoln, Neb., suffered a minor injury.

The state patrol was assisted by the Deer Creek Fire and Rescue and Wadena Ambulance.
