The Perham Police Department is issuing a warning for locals to be on the lookout for counterfeit money. Police Chief Jason Hoaby says there has been some recent activity in the Perham area regarding fake bills. Specifically mentioned is the $100 bills, which appear somewhat faded with different lettering on the bill, possibly with Chinese writing on them.

Residents are being asked to call the Perham Police Department at 218-346-4452 if any show up.
