Perham Shopko Hometown Pharmacy closing, transferring all prescriptions to Thrifty White

It just opened in Perham six and a half years ago, but Shopko Hometown Pharmacy in Perham is closing its doors. Thrifty White Pharmacy will be purchasing the prescription files from the Shopko.

It just opened in Perham six and a half years ago, but Shopko Hometown Pharmacy in Perham is closing its doors. Thrifty White Pharmacy will be purchasing the prescription files from the Shopko.

The Shopko Hometown Pharmacy will close on Monday, Jan. 14, at 4 p.m. Several media outlets are reporting the Shopko Corp. across the country is filing for bankruptcy. In Perham, all prescriptions will be available to be filled and picked up at Thrifty White Pharmacy on Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, located at 211 Market Drive, inside Central Market.

Thrifty White Pharmacy provides a mail out service for customer's prescriptions. Thrifty White Pharmacy has contracts with most insurance companies and will be able to fill prescriptions even if insurance hasn't been accepted at other pharmacies in the past.

Thrifty White Pharmacy hours are Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The pharmacy phone number is (218) 346-4840. All prescription records from the Shopko Hometown Pharmacy will be available to our pharmacists in all other Thrifty White stores.
