2006 Season: 6-14 Overall (3-8 Mid-State Conference). Staples-Motley (17-4, 10-1 Mid-State) has won the last two Mid-State titles.

2006 Sections: Perham was the No. 3 seed in Sub-Section 3 of the Section 8AA Tournament. They lost a first round game against No. 2 Frazee. D-G-F won their 1st 8AA title, beating Warroad in the title game. D-G-F lost their first round game at State to Watertown-Mayer. Watertown-Mayer lost the Class AA Championship game to Winona-Cotter.

2007 Seniors: Bradni Cresap, Kayleigh Dykhoff, Kayla Speicher, Alyssa Stafki.

Season Outlook: The Mid-State Conference title goes through Staples-Motley. The Cardinals have won the past two Mid-State Conference titles and return a strong team. Detroit Lakes has been the conference runner-up each of the last two years and will contend once again. Section 8AA wil be tough once again with D-G-F, Warroad, East Grand Forks and Bagley all returning State-caliber teams.
