Perham Speech team took 33 competitors to the Section 6A competition in Pillager, MN. 13 individual students broke finals (top six in the category), and the top three competitors in their respective categories are advancing to state. Seven Perham speakers will be on their way to the MSHSL State A competition in Wayzata, MN on Friday, April 12. Perham is proud to be sending off Olivia McNair, Grace Kalina, Brooke Germain, Andrew Jacobson, Jack Anderson, Titus Mycke, and Ethan Siira to compete in their various categories and represent Perham High School. The team earned 2nd place team sweep. Here are the individual results from the final round:

Creative Expression: Olivia McNair - 3rd

Discussion: Andrew Jacobson - 2nd, Jack Anderson - 3rd

Duo: Titus Mycke & Ethan Siira - 2nd

Ex. Reading: Grace Kalina - 2nd, Katherine Ternus - 6th
