The Lions International District 5M9 will be offering their 4th annual bus trip to the American Diabetes Association's Diabetes Expo 2008.
The expo will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 11.
Space is limited, so interested parties are encouraged to reserve their seats early. Transportation and admission to the expo are free to those riding the Lions sponsored buses. Two buses are being planned, one along Highway 10 and another to the south.
The Highway 10 bus schedule will pick up and drop off in Frazee, at the school bus garage, departing at 4:40 a.m.; Detroit Lakes, at the K-Mart parking lot at 5 a.m.; Perham, Pamida, at 5:30 a.m.; Wadena, at Wadena Inn and Grill, 6 a.m.; Staples, Staples Hospital, 6:30 a.m.
Pickup/drop-off sites for the south bus are as follows: Fergus Falls, Walmart, 5 a.m.; Battle Lake, Amoco Station, 5:15 a.m.; Deer Creek, 210/29 Jct./Station, 6 a.m.

There is a $20 per person refundable deposit. Checks should be made payable to Lions District 5M9- Diabetes Acct., adding your pickup site in the memo portion of the check.
Mail checks to Len Johnson, 5M9 Diabetes Co-Chair, 413 7th St. NE, Perham, MN 56573 to reserve a seat. Checks will be returned upon boarding the bus. Johnson is a member of the Perham Lions.
