2006 Season: The boys won the Heart O' Lakes Conference meet. The girls finished third with Agassiz Valley winning the HOL team title.
2006 Sections: Boys: The PHS boys won the sub-section title and finished as the Section 6A Runner-up to D-G-F. Caleb Anderson (Graduated), Kevin Lachowitzer (3200m) and Nathan Lillis (pole vault) advanced to State. Girls: The Jacket girls finished fourth at the sub-section meet and fifth at the 6A meet behind first place Sauk Centre. Brittany Gigstead (800m), Maddie McClellan (1600m) advanced to State and the 4x800 relay (Brittany Gigstead, Holly Sheets, Jenna Gigstead, Maddie McClellan) won the State Championship.

Boys Season Outlook: This year looks like it will be another good season for the Yellowjacket Boys Track Team as we have 9 seniors and 55 boys out 7-12th grade. Our strengths are middle distance, distance, hurdles, throws, pole vault and distance relays.
Girls Season Outlook: The Yellowjacket Girls should be improved from last year with strengths being in the middle distance, distance, hurdles, distance relays, throws. We have a good core group of athletes back. We have 3 seniors and 56 athletes out 7-12th grade.
