Perham woman sentenced for felony check offenses

Rachel Rebecca Danielson, 35, of Perham, was sentenced April 16 in district court following felony check offenses and charges. A 15-month sentenced was stayed for five years.

Rachel Rebecca Danielson, 35, of Perham, was sentenced April 16 in district court following felony check offenses and charges. A 15-month sentenced was stayed for five years.

Although she will not serve time in prison, Danielson was placed on supervised probation for five years.

Danielson was credited with 116 days already served in detention. Her supervised probation will be monitored by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.

The offense date, as noted in the county courthouse records, was Oct. 16, 2011. Danielson was originally arrested for felony issuance of dishonest checks. She faces similar charges in Becker and Beltrami counties.

As also noted in county records, Danielson must pay a $500 fine and has restitution to victims of $1,181 in one case and $60 to another person. She will take part in the community service (work) program.
