The 23rd annual Phelps Mill Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15.
Activities of interest for the whole family include: a variety of music, stage shows, and a children's activity area. Many Ethnic and American foods, provided by Otter Tail County Non-profit Organizations, are available. Plus a highly acclaimed Show featuring the work of Artists and Artisans make for a fun-filled weekend.
The Phelps Mill Festival has become a very special place for thousands of visitors during the past two decades. The smell of savory food, the sounds of professional family entertainment and the sights and allure of the Art and Craft Exhibition, the family reunions and the meeting with old friends has made the Festival a good choice for a day or two in the country.
One hundred sixty-five Art and Craft artisans are on grounds displaying and selling their work. With a wide variety of mediums featuring: watercolor, oils, pottery, photography, woodworking, country art, jewelry, and more, there is unlimited shopping and appeal.
American and ethnic food choices to tempt your taste buds all day long, grilled pork chops, homemade pies, root beer floats, tacos, crazy bread, popcorn, BBQ turkey sandwiches and more.
Visit the Children's Activity Area for a "hands-on" art experience for the young ones. Sponsored by Phelps Mill Country and organized by the Ashby Girl Scouts.
Free parking on local pasture, with a shuttle to the Festival grounds, is operated by local Lion clubs. A nominal gate fee of $3.00 for adults (12 and under free) provides admittance to a day full of activities.
