2008 Seniors: Sara Formanek, Steph Wieczorek, Kim Brill, Becca Peloquin, Maria Lindberg, Ali Januszewski.
Get to Know'em: Tiffany Schroeer (jr.), Tara Sailer (jr.), and Elisa Moenkedick (so.), all have varsity experience. Mallory Malikowski (jr.), Rachel Pfeffer (jr.), Emily Rutten (jr.), Heather Schultz (jr.), Emily Lindberg (jr.), Stephanie Miller (fr.).
Strengths: The Lady Jackets will bring good experience for new coach Keith Johnson to work with. The team can go 9-10 deep without losing much and they got a taste of winning with a run to the Section championship last season. Johnson was coach of the current junior class when they were freshmen, so the transition should be smooth.
Season Outlook: The Heart O' Lakes will be up for grabs. Up to six teams could be in the hunt for the title, including Perham. The Jackets are in a new section, moving down to Class AA, Section 8 with: Bagley, Crookston, Crosby-Ironton, D-G-F, East Grand Forks, Frazee, Hawley, Park Rapids, Pelican Rapids, Pequot Lakes, Perham, Pine River-Backus, Roseau, Wadena-Deer Creek, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, and Warroad. Crookston is the preseason No. 3 team. Last year's 8AA champ, Barnesville, moved down to Class A.
