One of the area's most active musicians will be honored at a special event, Sept. 24, at Calvary Lutheran Church.
Twenty-years of music ministry at Calvary will be celebrated, as the congregation honors Russ "The Music Man" Bunker
In addition to his dedication to Calvary, Bunker has also been active with his music in the greater community, and has been a piano-organ-voice teacher for students young--and old.
Special music will be featured at both the 8:30 and 10:45 worship services. Between services, a special program will be presented during coffee hour.
Bunker has served at Calvary since 1986, when he was called to be the church organist. In 1993, he became senior choir director, and in 1995, he became the coordinator of music at Calvary.
