One hot inning was all the Perham Pirates needed as they improved to 2-0 with a 4-2 win at Bertha on Sunday in HI-10 Baseball.

Perham trailed 2-0 in the fifth when Ryan Enger led-off with a single. Tyler Doll reached by getting hit by a pitch and Matt Schornack loaded the bases when his sacrifice bunt attempt went for a bunt- single.

A walk to Mike Winjum scored the first run, then Jon Kotaska tied the game with a sacrifice fly. Schornack scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch, the Winjum came in on a RBI ground-out by Tyler Sjolie, giving Perham a 4-2 lead.
