The goal of this year's Relay for Life event in Perham is to come up with 25 teams. As of June 10 there were 18 registered to compete with two more committed but unregistered. The goal is to put 25 teams out. The teams signed up have raised more than $50,000 with some big fundraisers still not accounted for.

"We are very optimistic this will be another great year," Relay 4 Life's Emily Poulson said.

Relay for Life is a annual function of the American Cancer Society.

The cookout will be held next to the Perham Library parking lot from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
