The Perham-Dent school board will take to the road December 14 to Dent.
Wind power will be one of the items on the agenda, as the board hears a presentation on wind turbin technology.
The Committee of the Whole meeting will be Friday, Dec. 14, at noon at Nootzi's On Main in Dent. Regular school business will be discussed, though it is not an action session.
School officials, as well as area government and business leaders, will hear a presentation at 1 p.m. from Wind Song Energy, a Fergus Falls-based company specializing in energy-generating wind turbines.
Giant blades, mounted on a tower at the Buffalo Pass Ranch near Fergus Falls, along Interstate 94, are Wind Song turbines used in the production of electricity. The system has a maximum capability to produce 39.5 kilowatts of electricity.
