Renata M. Drager, age 99, of Perham, MN, died Friday, January 4, 2008, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2008, beginning at 11:00 am at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, with Pastor Carl Noble officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Renata Marie Schwanke was born July 22, 1908, in Sauk Centre, MN, the daughter of Fred and Anne (Beck) Schwanke. She grew up on a farm in Grey Eagle, MN, and attended school in Long Prairie, MN. On April 22, 1930, she was united in marriage to Leslie "Les" Drager in Grey Eagle. Together they owned and operated Drager's Grocery Store in Long Prairie for fifteen years and in 1974 they retired to Little Pine Lake, Perham. Les died in 2002.

Renata is survived by three daughters, Arlys Peterson, Stillwater, MN; Carol (Larry) Spangler, Folsom, CA; and Judy Peterson, Moorhead, MN; five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Preceding Renata in death are her parents; her husband, Les; two sisters, Lena Callahan and Loretta Lackmann; and one brother, Walter Schwanke.
