A Richville woman was injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident north of Vergas yesterday.
Veronica Lynn Vennes, age 44, was driving southbound on Becker County Road 17 when she swerved to miss an animal in the road, the Minnesota State Patrol reports. Her vehicle, a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, entered the right ditch and rolled over.
Vennes was transported to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The patrol reports that Vennes was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and alcohol was not a factor. The accident occurred at 4:53 p.m. on a dry road.
