Ronald LeRoy Krell was born on November 10, 1936, to William and Helen (Billeter) in Gordon, NE. He passed away at the age of 71 years on September 10, 2008, in St. Cloud, MN.
Ron served four years in the United States Navy beginning in June 1955. Ron was united in marriage with Arlene Phipps on August 17, 1959, in Hot Springs, SD. He was a member of the Wadena community for over 18 years and spent most of his working career as a truck driver. Fishing was his favorite pastime.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, William.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene of 49 years; his mother, Helen Krell, of Wadena; son, Steven Krell of Wadena, MN; daughters, Debra (Wade) Brammann of Pine River, MN, Sharlene Cameron of Anoka, MN, and Cheryl (Richard) Barnard of Kings Bay, GA; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Judy) Krell of Verndale, MN; and sister, Laraine Myers, of Staples, MN.
Memorial services were held on Monday, September 15,in the Johnson Memorial Home Chapel in Wadena. Interment will held at a later date in the Wadena Cemetery in Wadena.
