PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. – A bus ran over the legs of a boy who slipped and fell near the high school here on Wednesday, police said.
The boy, an elementary school student, was taken to a local hospital, Pelican Rapids Police Chief Jeff Stadum said.
The accident happened about 3:50 p.m. in front of Pelican Rapids High School, where buses load and unload students, Stadum said. Buses often take students from the elementary school to the high school for extra-curricular activities.
The boy got off the bus and was running when he fell down and another bus that had arrived ran over his legs, Stadum said.
The incident is under investigation, he said.
