The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center's annual Garden Party and Silent Auction titled, April Showers Bring May Flowers, will be held Sunday, April 29 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This event is an easy, fun way to support your local arts by either donating a garden related item to the auction or by attending the event and picking up a wonderful gift for Mother's Day or yourself. All funds raised by this event support our summer events including the popular "Art In Your Parks" kids crafts programming, the nationally recognized "Great American Think-Off" and summer music concerts. A silent auction item donation can be as simple and low cost as one of your thinned out perennial flower transplants. Dig it up and bring it in to help us raise the funds needed to support the summer arts program.
A special thanks to Heart of the Lakes Credit Union for their generous, matching funds donation. Each year Heart of the Lakes Credit Union has shown area citizens how much they care by supporting the Cultural Center's programming. Everyone in the community is invited to enjoy refreshments, wine, tasty eats and great conversation. Please plan to attend and be a true friend of the arts.
