Perhams offense came to life in the second game of their doubleheader split with Park Rapids Tuesday. Their 14-3 win in five innings snapped a three game slide and hopefully will get them pointed in the right direction at the seasons halfway point.
After a seven-error performance gave Park Rapids an 11-6 win in game one, Perham jumped out early in game two with a four-run first.
Mallory Malikowski, the game one loser, had a two-run single in that big first innings. Kayla Speicher and Sarah Werner each drove in a run as well.

Speicher drove in one more in the second, making the score 5-0. The Jackets then opened up the game with a five-run third.
Three more in the fourth and one in the fifth gave Perham their second win of the season by 10-run rule.
Malikowski finished the game with five RBI. Werner was 4-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI. Alyssa Stafki was 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
Perham will remain on the road this week as they head to Detroit Lakes (6-5, 5-1 Mid-State) for another Mid-State doubleheader on May 5.
The Jackets return home to host Staples-Motley (3-1, 2-0 Mid-State) on May 9. The doubleheader at the Arvig Park Softball Complex will start at 4 p.m.
