Throughout the 2018-2019 season, the Perham Speech team prepared themselves for this moment. On Friday, March 29th, they competed at the MSHSL Sub-Section 22A Speech Tournament held at Underwood, MN. This meet differs from other regular-season meets because the top six competitors in their category will advance to the MSHSL Section 6A Tournament held at Pillager on April 6. At the sub-section level, the top six speakers in each category advance to sections. Perham has 32 speakers who placed in the top six of their individual categories. Perham's seven subsection speakers placing seventh and eighth are first and second alternates, respectively. At Sections, the top three competitors in each category will advance to the MSHSL State Tournament hosted by Wayzata High School April 11-13.
