Softball meeting
There will be a pre-season softball meeting on Tuesday, March 28 at
the Silver Moon Lounge and Restaurant at 7:30 p.m.
All team managers for both the Tuesday night Co-Rec league and the Thursday night Men's league should plan to attend.
Anyone interested in starting a new team in either league should contact Randy Skoog at 346-8072.

Baseball BBQ Bingo, April 4
The Perham Home Run Club will be hosting a Barbecue Bingo fundraiser on Tuesday, April 4 in the Prairie Wind Middle School Commons.
All proceeds will benefit the 7-12 baseball teams at Perham High School.
Concessions will open at 5:30 p.m. with hot dogs and turkey sandwiches, and bingo will start at 7 p.m.
Umpire clinics
The Minnesota Sports Federation, along with ASA-USA Softball, will be hosting a series of softball umpire clinics and schools this spring.
Both the clinics and day-schools are geared to enhance both the new and veteran umpires officiating experience through interpretation of rules and regulations by ASA-USA Softball staff members.
All clinics will last approximately 1 1/4 hours with the Saturday day-schools lasting five hours. Attendance for new umps is highly recommended. There is no cost for the clinics and umps can register with ASA-USA Softball when they attend.

Wasche to play football at BHSU
Rod Wasche, a 2002 graduate of Perham High School, has signed to play football at Black Hill State University in Spearfish, S.D.
Wasche, a 511, 255 pound defensive lineman, played two seasons at Mendocino Junior College in Ukiah, Calif. before transferring to BHSU.

In two seasons at Mendocino, Wasche was All-Bay Area honorable mention both years and earned a number of Player of the Week honors.
He is one of 29 players to sign up as part of BHSUs first recruiting class.
