Christopher Lee Haugen, 26, of Rothsay, appeared in Otter Tail County District Court on April 1 to face felony charges of receiving stolen property and possessing a pistol/assault weapon following a previous felony conviction.
Haugen is alleged to have stashed some stolen guns, with help from an accomplice, according to court records. Law enforcement personnel, during an investigation in March, were able to seize three shotguns identified as those previously stolen from a residence in nearby Wilkin County.
Haugen has a prior felony conviction from 2007 of fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.
At press time, his next court appearance was yet to be determined.
