Perham Health recently announced the recipients of its 2021 Healthcare Career Educational Scholarship. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to assist them in pursuing their degree in a health care related field.
The scholarship program is intended to encourage people to enter or advance themselves in a health care career and is awarded to high school seniors or post-secondary students residing in the Perham Health service area.
This year's recipients are as follows:
Megan Rinicker – Megan plans to pursue a nursing degree at Central Lakes College in Brainerd. Her parents are Shawn and Anji Redfield.
Kaylie Kirchenwitz – Kaylie is enrolled in the nursing program at Central Lakes College in Brainerd. Her parents are Justin and Megan Kirchenwitz.
Brenna Mahoney – Brenna will attend the University of Minnesota Morris to study biology/pre-physical therapy. Her parents are Michael and Tanya Mahoney.
Elizabeth Radermacher – Elizabeth plans to attend the University of North Dakota to pursue a degree in nursing. Her parents are Pat and Lisa Radermacher.
Grace Mindermann – Grace plans to attend M-State Wadena to obtain a nursing degree. Her parents are Peter and Amy Mindermann.
In addition, the Sanford Health Network Scholarship which is funded in part by Sanford Health and by a network sponsoring facility, in this instance, Perham Health, awards a $2,000 scholarship to provide financial support to someone who has decided to make health care their career.
Perham Health announced that the recipient of this scholarship is:
Stella Raser – She will attend M-State Fergus Falls to pursue nursing. Stella’s parents are Brennon and Jodi Raser.
