Students injured when truck, school bus collide
RENVILLE, Minn. -- Seven people, including five teens, were injured Wednesday when a truck collided with a school bus on an icy road near Renville in west-central Minnesota.

None of the injuries were life-threatening.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the accident on Minnesota Highway 212 happened at 6 p.m. when a tractor-trailer driven by David R. Littlecreek-Wilbanks, 50, of Granite Falls, broadsided a school bus driven by Dennis M. Isaackson, 56, of Cottonwood.
The State Patrol accident report said the truck was in the process of turning north onto Renville County Road 21 when it collided with the oncoming bus.
There were 19 passengers on the bus. Five were taken to the hospital, including Erin Devereaux, 18, of Cottonwood, Kailey Haab, 18, of Woodlake, Sydney Matthys, 17, city unknown, Dennis Backson, 17, city unknown, Jocelyn Dopp, 18, Cottonwood, and Josie Laleman, 33, of Minneota.
The bus passengers, as well Littlecreek-Wilbanks, were all taken to the RC Hospital in Olivia and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The school bus driver suffered no apparent injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor.
