The Yellowjacket boys swim team traveled to Thief River Falls for their first dual meet of the season on Tuesday. The Jackets lost points without any divers and had a pair of disqualifications in a 97-73 loss to the Prowlers.
Perham had a pair of first place relay teams and five individual winners plus a sixth first place winner that was disqualified.
Perham won last year's dual at TRF, 91-78.
The Jacket swimmers will get the Holiday break off before returning to competition on Jan. 3 in Park Rapids. They will hit the water a little closer to home on Jan. 5 at the Detroit Lakes Invite.
