Unforced errors and inconsistent play grounded the Eagles Tuesday in a 7-0 loss at Crosby-Ironton.
New York Mills managed just 13 total points as they lost each match in straight sets to the Rangers.

Aitkin won 13 of 14 sets (plus one tiebreaker) against the Eagles last Thursday in a 7-0 win.
Lauri Vorderbruggen and Erica Imsande, New York Mills No. 1 doubles team, lost their first set 6-0, but bounced back for a 7-5 win in the second to force a tiebreaker, which the Aitkin team won, 7-1.
"Other than the first doubles team, we did not fair well in this one," Bach said.
The Eagles scored just nine total points outside the No. 1 doubles match.
NY Mills (2-6) finally returns to their home court today (Sept. 7) for the first time this fall to take on Osakis at 4:30 p.m. The Silverstreaks beat Mills, 7-0, during a season-opening quadrangle.
The Eagles will scrimmage at Staples-Motley on Sept. 11, then return home for matches against Parkers Prairie on Sept. 12 and against Mahnomen on Sept. 14.
