Military-type items stolen near Vergas
Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Deputies said a vehicle break-in near Vergas resulted in the theft of approximately $4,000 worth of military-type items, including clothing.
Law enforcement officials were informed of the incident on Nov. 28.
The location was along Highway 17, northwest of town.
Fishing equipment stolen

Fishing equipment was stolen from a fish house on Adley Lake near Parkers Prairie. Taken were 20 jig sticks, several rattle wheels, tip-ups and fishing tackle.
Safe box taken near Perham
The theft of a safe box was called in to authorities at 10:41 a.m. on Nov. 27. The location was south of Perham along Highway 14.
Thieves, according to deputies, gained access to a house and found the safe box in one of the bedrooms. An investigation is continuing.
Firearms, TV stolen
Late in the evening of Nov. 27 or in the early-morning hours of Nov. 28, burglars stole firearms, a TV and other items from a house on 200th Street south of Fergus Falls.
A hunter on nearby property noticed signs of the break-in and called authorities. Investigators believe access to the dwelling was obtained by breaking a sunroom window. Thieves then gained entry into the house.
