Thelma Anna Ogroske, 86, Bismarck, North Dakota, died, Friday, July 7, 2006, at St. Vincent's Care Center, Bismarck.
Thelma was one of eleven children born to Bernard and Rosa (Stolp) Veenker.
She was born on Valentines Day, February 14, 1920, in Creighton Nebraska.
She received her education at St. Ludger's Academy in Creighton.
Thelma married William Ogroske on October 22, 1940, in Fairmont, Minnesota.

The couple moved to Corliss Township, Perham, Minnesota in 1942 and farmed until moving to Fergus Falls in 1970. She was employed as a sales clerk in various stores in downtown Fergus Falls. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and St. Theresa's Circle. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the Senior Citizens and sang in the Senior Citizens chorus and played in the Kitchen Band. Her husband Bill died in 1988. She then moved to The Sheridan House in 2001. In 2002 she moved to Bismarck and was a resident of the St. Vincent's Care Center until the time of her death.
She is survived by one son, Dennis (Carolyn) Ogroske, Mandan; one granddaughter, Debra (David) Linn; two great-granddaughters, Mariah and Karissa, Glendive, Montana; one brother-in-law, several sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, five sisters and five brothers.
The Funeral Service was held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Fergus Falls, Minnesota with Father Robert Kieffer officiating. Burial will be in First Lutheran North Cemetery, Fergus Falls. Visitation was from 5-7:00 PM, Monday, July 10th with vigil prayers beginning at 7:00 PM, at Olson Funeral Home. Visitation continued one hour prior to the service at the church. Local arrangements are by Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
