The Maria and Todd Thompson family of Perham is welcoming a new "daughter" for the 2010 academic year-Seung-Hye Jeong, a Youth for Understanding (YFU) USA exchange student from Korea.
Seung-Hye will attend will attend Perham High School.
Seung-Hye will live as a member of the Thompson family by participating in social activities, events, vacations an daily household chores. In turn she will also share the cultures and customs of Korea with her host family, friends and fellow classmates.
Since 1951, YFU has facilitated more than 240,000 student exchanges across the world.
