Three people were injured and taken to local hospitals following a two-vehicle collision south of New York Mills on July 13.
According to an Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office report, June Ellen Rogers, 62, of NY Mills was injured when her car collided with a vehicle driven by Paul Daniel Lynch, 35, of Henning. Lynch, along with passenger Heather Marie Spiering, 23, were transported to Perham Memorial Hospital for bruises and possible fractures. Rogers was transported to Wadena Tri-County Hospital for bruises and possible fractures.
The accident occurred at 2 p.m. on July 13 on Otter Tail County Highway 67 near Heinola. According to the report, Rogers was driving southbound in her 2003 Ford Taurus when she attempted to make a left turn. Lynch, driving a 1999 Ford Explorer, was northbound and the two vehicles collided when Rogers attempted the left turn.
No citations were issued, and all three occupants were wearing seat belts.
NY Mills Fire & Rescue responded to the scene, along with Wadena Ambulance.
