March 30 will be the evening to pay tribute to three of Perhams leaders and top citizens.

The annual Leadership and Hall of Fame dinner event gets underway at 6 p.m., at Mulligans Pub and Eatery and Lakeside Golf Club.

Two will be honored with entrance into the Perham Hall of Fame.

Career educator, St. Henrys School Principal Mary Thomas, will be retiring after 26 years in the position. She and her late husband Joseph, a music teacher for Perham Dent public schools, moved to Perham in 1970.

Also to be inducted is Perham booster Bob Perry, who owned Perrys Floral in Perham for three decades.

Perry owned Perrys floral shop in Perham for many years. He contributed $50,000 to the Perhams Scholarship program. The money is in the Dollars For Scholars account, and awards will be determined by a committee of vocational instructors. The money will be dispersed over a period of 15 years to students planning to attend a two-year college.

Achieving the Leadership honor is Charlie Fleck, coach of Perhams state champion gymnastics team.

For information on the diner, contact the Perham Area Chamber of Commerce, 346-7710 or 800-634-6112.
