Tot Time, a fun and fitness oriented time for children age 0-6, started its third year on September 20 at the Perham Area Community Center.

Tot Time was launched in the fall of 2004 by the Perham Early Childhood Initiative as a response to a need for a free, affordable program that would provide a place for Perham's youngest citizens to begin learning positive social and physical development in a fun and unstructured environment. Funds to purchase equipment for the program were provided by West Central Initiative.

In addition to being a great place for kids, adults also benefit through sharing parenting tips, making connections with others in similar life situations, and having an opportunity to simply have fun with their child.

Tot Time is open to the public and it is not necessary to be a member of the PACC or to pre-register. Sessions are held twice weekly on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10 to 11:30.

The cost is $1 per child.
