Tryntje "Tine" Zylstra died on Friday November 2, 2007 at home. She was 85 years old.
Born in Friesland, Holland, Mrs. Zylstra came to the United States in 1965 and lived in Cochecton, NY from 1967 until moving to Byram Township in 2003. Mrs. Zylstra had a green thumb and during the summer, she would enjoy walking visitors around the house to show off her beautiful flowers.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Frank Zylstra, on January 8, 2004.
She is survived by: two stepdaughters, Frances Kuipers of Blairstown, and Edith Ervey and her husband, Tom of Byram Township; three stepsons: James Zylstra and his wife, Janet of Branchville, Donald Zylstra and his wife, Cindy of New York Mills, MN and John Zylstra and his wife, Bonnie of Johnson; seventeen stepgrandchildren; sixteen step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in Holland
A memorial service was held at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home in Newton, NJ
