Two people were hurt in an accident east of Deer Creek on Friday.
Steven Ray Sibert, age 47, of Hewitt, Minn., was traveling north on Highway 29 when his Dodge Ram rear-ended a Ford Taurus, forcing both vehicles into the ditch and causing the Taurus to roll once, the Minnesota State Patrol reports.
Sibert suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. A passenger in the other vehicle, Randall Richter, age 61, also received non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Taurus, Vicki Ellen Olson, age 60, Deer Creek, was not hurt, according to the patrol.
All parties were wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
The crash occurred at 7:15 p.m. Wadena County rescue agencies assisted at the scene.
