A man from Erhard and another from Vergas have been arrested and charged with felony assaults by strangulation.
Sean Patrick McKeag, 29, of Erhard, was arrested on April 28. Two days later, on April 30, Dustin Paul Dahring, 34, of Vergas, was arrested. They were taken to the Otter Tail County detention center in Fergus Falls.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to calls made by the choking victims and/or family members.
At press time, McKeag and Dahring were both scheduled to appear in Otter Tail County Court at a later date.
