One report indicated that the water was near 200 degrees and that the younger man suffered significant burns, while the 32-year-old had burns on his hands and feet. However, neither their identities nor their conditions have been released.
The Minnesota office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is reviewing details of the accident today, according to James Honerman, OSHA spokesman. He said the agency will determine its response once the review is completed.
Meanwhile, OSHA is continuing to review a Feb. 6 accident at the East Grand Forks factory, according to Honerman.
In that incident, an unidentified worker was seriously burned when hot syrupy liquid reportedly spewed out of a large tank.
