A vehicle struck a Black Angus steer just before midnight on Aug. 8 near the intersection of Highway 210 and Kolstad Road, west of Battle Lake, Minn.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office said there was extensive damage to the vehicle but no apparent injury to the driver.
The animal’s owner was located and the steer was transported back to the owner’s property.
