Vergas Looney Daze 2007 has something to offer to all ages.
The 4-day celebration is kicked off on Thursday, Aug. 9, with the crowning of the 22nd Annual Miss Vergas.
Friday features great merchant sales, garage sales, the Princess Altona Program and a Street Dance, featuring "Icebreaker" --18 & older only. Saturday is the "Big" Day with an art and craft fair, horseshoe tournament, the famous Loon Calling Contest, "Penny & Pals," Road Rally, outdoor music, and Karaoke.
The celebration concludes Sunday with a collectible car show, the great Looney Daze Parade, and drawings for the T.I.P. gun and 4-wheeler giveway. Don't forget to listen for clues for the missing emerald egg.
