Marlon Solomon Roberts, 32, of Vergas, was sentenced Oct. 25 after a felony conviction of criminal vehicular operation, substantial bodily harm.

His sentence of 19 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud is stayed for four years, depending on good behavior during his probationary period. Local confinement of 120 days has been completed.

The original case dates back to May 22, 2017, when Roberts crashed his vehicle while under the influence of a substance, injuring his passenger. Roberts pled guilty on Oct. 21.
