It didn't take long for things to come together on the new playground project. Under the direction of Dave Braukmann and installers from Little Tykes, an impressive group of volunteers had the playground installed by noon Saturday.
From climbing walls to corkscrew slides to new-age monkey bars to a giant serpent, this playground has a little bit of everything for kids of all ages.
The PlayMatters Committee would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in this project - all the volunteers who did the dirt work, those who put the equipment together, and those who served meals. Things really came together and worked well from first thing Thursday morning to the last load of cedar chips Saturday.
