Funeral services were held for Wanda Bauck of New York Mills, Minnesota on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in New York Mills, Minnesota with Pastor Jon T. Haakana officiating. The music was provided by the congregation, accompanied by Cindy Becker. Special music was provided by Gary Bach. The pallbearers were Tawnya Karvonen, Tanya Ard, Steve Steinbach, Kevin Hennagir, Mike White and Mike Rudolph. The honorary pallbearers were Jesse Bauck, Kaylie Bauck, Chris Bauck, Shawn Bauck, Tori Bauck, Ashley Ard and Hayley Ard. Wanda was laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery in New York Mills, Minnesota.
Wanda Lynn Bauck was born on November 3, 1961 in Wadena, Minnesota. Her parents are Donald and Sharon (Peterson) Bauck. Wanda was baptized in Nazareth Lutheran Church in New York Mills, Minnesota in 1962. She attended school in Sebeka, Minnesota and later she attended school in Perham, Minnesota. She graduated from Perham High School with the Class of 1983. Wanda enjoyed every day. She liked to play cards, bingo and nickel slots. She also liked to watch television, listen to Elvis Presley and work puzzles on Friday nights. Wanda loved to spend time with her family, friends and her cat Simon. She has resided with her mother and father in New York Mills, Minnesota. On May 9, 2007 Wanda passed away peacefully at her home at 45 years of age. Wanda was the kindest of souls and touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be sadly missed.
Wanda is survived by her parents, Don and Sharon Bauck of New York Mills; three brothers: Bryan & Colleen Bauck of New York Mills; Shawn Bauck of New York Mills; Jason (Tawnya) Bauck of New York Mills; nieces & nephews: Jesse Bauck, Kaylie Bauck, Chris Bauck, Shawn Bauck, Tori Bauck, Ashley Ard and Hayley Ard; many other relatives and a host of friends.
