FARGO, N.D. — Snow totals over the past 72 hours reached double digits for many towns in the Fargo-Moorhead region, according to National Weather Service reports.

Fargo reported 12.3 inches of snow from the blizzard, and Moorhead saw 11.5 inches, the weather service said. Frontier, N.D., a suburb of south Fargo, clocked in 17 inches.

The highest reported total so far is from Ellendale in southeast North Dakota. The Dickey County town was pummeled with 26 inches of snow.

Accumulation was still gathering as bands of light snow continued to fall over western Minnesota and eastern North Dakota Monday, Dec. 30.
