ROSEVILLE, Minn. – One of three winning jackpot tickets for Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing was bought in Minnesota’s Anoka County, according to a statement released by the Minnesota State Lottery.
The ticket is worth $149.4 million if the winner selects the 30-year-annuity option, or $86 million if the cash option is chosen.
Anoka County is in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities. The other winning tickets were sold in New Jersey.
The $448.4 million jackpot is the third largest in Powerball history.
It is the 22nd time Minnesota has had a Powerball jackpot winner, according to Ed Van Petten, director of the Minnesota State Lottery.
