Friday, May 4, from 3:30-7:30 p.m. is the date and time for the 4-H Youth Garden Day to be held at the New York Mills School.
The University of Minnesota Master Gardeners and 4-H have grafted together a fun afternoon of hands-on gardening projects for all area youth K-6th grade to enrich their gardening experiences, cultivate plant science knowledge and grow in gardening skills. Youth will have the opportunity to make a container garden, corsage, and learn how to make a balloon garden. There will be seeds, tapes, garden gloves and much more.
The program fee for the Garden Party is $7 per participant with a family maximum, of $21. (There will be an evening meal served.)
