The Celebration of Life Open House in memory of Terry Hendershot of Parkers Prairie, was held on Wednesday, May 5, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Domian-Anderson Chapel in Bertha.
Terry, age 33, passed away with family by his side on April 28, 2021, at U of MN Fairview hospital, in Minneapolis, MN.
Terry was born to Dareld and Bethany (Hauge) Hendershot on September 30, 1987 in Fergus Falls, MN. He attended school in Pelican Rapids before graduating from Twin Valley High School. He later had several jobs before becoming an employee at Tuffy’s Pet Food in Perham. Terry’s free time was most often spent enjoying the outdoors while ice fishing, 4-wheeling, side-by-side mudding, using a skid loader, and farming. He also enjoyed riding horseback.
Terry was preceded in death by his son Lucas Hendershot.
Surviving Terry are his father, Dareld Hendershot of Parkers Prairie; mother, Beth (David) Portz of Twin Valley; siblings, Thomas (Kris) Hendershot and Joshua (Eliza) Hendershot; nieces, Lexy, Morgan, Josie and Maddie; nephews Mike (Penelope), Nicoda, Wyatt and Jace; along with a host of friends.
Honorary pallbearers were Derek Carlsruud, Todd Thompson, Shawn Ashbaugh and Matt Shaw.
Burial was in Woodside Cemetery, Wrightstown, MN.
