Last summer, I was looking at buying a new outboard motor for my fishing boat. It appeared some previous work done by a marine service place in the Cities doomed by 15 HP motor as scrap. After talking with Foster at Foster’s Marine Service in Perham, we were thinking the same. However, Foster’s curiosity begged to differ, so he asked if he could dig deeper into the motor during his less busy winter months. Well, I thought, “What have I got to lose?”

In early March, Foster called me and said that after talking with the Yamaha rep, he was quite sure of the problem. The part was ordered and weeks later when the part came in, Foster called me and said the motor “runs flawlessly.” He was right! I tested the motor on the water this spring. It ran flawlessly!

Thank you Foster, and Lora, his business owner wife. It was simply a pleasure to do business with Foster’s Marine. Thank you for your honesty, curiosity and customer care. Not only did you save me the cost of a new motor, you reassured me that Perham has a good marine service business that endorses the business values of the community of Perham very well.
