To the editor:
Recently the Free Little Library in our neighborhood was vandalized, books stolen and the interior of the library inscribed with the racial slur "Black N***ers Matter."
This library was built by a peaceful, compassionate man in order to share his love of books with his neighbors. The vandalism leaves us disappointed but hopeful the violator will find encouragement to regret his or her act of hate.
The man who built our amazing stone covered library is no longer with us; his desire to share a good book will continue.
